DEFINITION

Engagement Rate

The percentage of an audience that actively interacts with content through likes, comments, shares, and saves. Calculated as (total engagements / total followers) x 100. A higher engagement rate signals a more valuable audience for monetization, as brands prioritize reach quality over raw follower count.
